Important things to remember:

-         Hamsters love to chew so make sure they have plenty to chew on.

-         Wait a few hours after you take your Hamster home before handling because you could stress out him/her out. Let your Hamster get use to their new environment.

-         Fresh Food everyday to every other day.

-         Make sure they have Water everyday.

-         Hamsters usually go to the bathroom in the corners of their environment, so make sure if you do not do a complete bedding change everyday to every other day that you at least clean the corner where they used the bathroom.

-         Wash your hands before and after handling the animal. If you have any food smells on your hands your hamster may mistake your finger for food and possibly bite.
